PROJECT 1: International Peer Brotherhood Project

The "International Peer Brotherhood" project, which aims to improve the cultural orientation of our international students who will start their first year at our faculty, was initiated by our faculty dean, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Akgün and our vice dean Prof. It is planned under the direction of Gülbu Tanrıverdi. Students who want to take part in this project planned within the scope of social responsibility projects are kindly requested to send their names to myalcin@comu.edu.tr by e-mail. If there are many people who want to take part, our students who are in the fourth grade and have taken the intercultural nursing course will be preferred. Project meetings will be held under the chairmanship of the dean and vice dean. Meeting dates will be announced separately.

PROJECT 2: We Are Dehydrated, Are We Aware?

In this project, it is planned to raise social awareness in our university and city regarding the importance of water and water saving. Students of our faculty who want to take part in the project must send their names along with the name of the project to myalcin@comu.edu.tr. The dates and names for the project meetings will be announced by our deanery once the names are determined

PROJECT 3: Give Your Waste a Second Chance

Garbage has serious damage to our environment and ecosystem. In particular, the uncontrolled accumulation of plastic, glass, metal and organic waste can lead to many negative effects, from polluting water resources to soil erosion. Therefore, recycling of waste is of great importance. Recycling means recycling waste and ensuring more efficient use of natural resources. In this way, energy is saved, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced and the amount of garbage is helped to be reduced. The active participation of every individual in the recycling process is an indispensable step in order to leave a clean and healthy environment to future generations. Our aim in this project is;

2. Conscious reduction of garbage

3. Creating social awareness
